Club Blogs
Welcome to the Club Diaries section, exclusive to Footballing World. We are always on the lookout for new club diarists on any club; blogs for those sides less written on are fascinating in their onn way, with the Shewsbury Town diary being a case in point. If you are interested in writing a diary for your club - providing it is not already featured, simply e-mail us with a first entry and we will do our best to utilise it. And finally - remember you can interact and leave your opinions on our diarists via the comments function; these are greatly appreciated by our bloggers and encourage lively debate, which is exactly what we are looking for.

Paul Robinson kept another clean sheet, Lennon showed he is a valuable sub, and Carrick was man of the match. All in all the win over Ecuador was a good day for Spurs fans and a better one for England, thanks to forced changes that boosted our chances.
At one point last week everyone started to write off England again after top scorer Owen was injured during defeat to Sweden. ... Continue reading "Spurs men and England benefit from tactical accident"... Selling the Family Silver Thursday, 22 June 2006
Dan Lavelle believes Joleon Lescott's departure marks a new ethos at Molineux
So, after 212 appearances and years of speculation, Joleon Lescott has finally left Wolves. Everton have reached a deal worth up to £5m to take the former England U-21 centre-half and our defensive colossus off our hands. No-one can begrudge Jo the move; arguably, he’s spent a season too long at this level ... Continue reading "Selling the Family Silver"... Patience is a virtue Saturday, 3 June 2006
On the domestic front though, I’m getting impatient waiting for some transfer news from Kenilworth Road. Instead, and uncomfortably, there is no shortage of speculation about Mike Newell who has reportedly been interviewed for the jobs at Derby and Ipswich recently and Leicester before that. Either he has been poorly prepared or been too nervous on the day because he hasn’t got any of them. New...
