Nike have launched a new campaign in association with the Premier League to discover 22 of the most talented but unsigned footballers who could make it at pro level. Nike: Most Wanted will hold trials across the UK & Ireland - technical, mental and physical - designed to find the best young British talent.

The winners will get to take part in the ultimate training weekend with the legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The competition runs across the whole of July as the hunt for the next Wayne Rooney commences and wannabe footballers get their chance to impress scouts - and possibly even Britain’s best coach, Sir Alex.
So wipe away those tears of disappointment at England and co’s failure to reach the Euros and look forward to the infamous Scotsman training up the next generation of talent. Something certainly needed for the overpaid and underworked English bunch….

sir alex ive been a fan of mufc since i was little.and ive always wanted to play professional football.i play in a sunday morning league.im a centre forward who can not only score goals but help the whole team in anyway i can.i play the same way as my idol wayne rooney always track back and help themidfield and defence.most people think cenre forwards dont have to much wxcept score goals.in my mind thats not true its a team game,where the whole team help each other.i admire your work,who have made plenty of stars and i hope i could have the chance with you to be another one of your up and coming stars.lets do the treble this year lads…come on you red devils
